Why do Indian Muslims grow beard after coming to UK

Has anyone ever wondered about this, or has any Indians settled in UK in the past 10 years or so thought about this, its an interesting phenomenon sweeping across the United Kingdom. I personally had a few muslim friends in India to be precise Bengaluru-Kolar and they were ok then in the sense that they at least behaved normally, would speak to us in Kannada and just be normal, religion was never a issue with them and their dressing was similar to any one of us, with a odd gowher wearing head scarf to college. Thats how it was until they came to UK, I started noticing changes in their behavior and language, they start growing beard and use the words like salam alikum, Inshalla and mashall frequently during a conversation, when these things never happened back home in India, is it a change just in them or the influence of their more radicalized brethren in the UK, only Allah knows. But after the Glasgow bomber was found to be from Bengaluru, its a concern for each and everyone of us, the thoughts and Ideas of extreme Islam will be taken back to India and a potential bomber will be created if they start to identify themselves as Muslim first and then Indian. Here I am not talking about ordinary laborers but professionals. At least I hope they have some sympathy for the people back home after-all its the Indian soil which has been providing them with a meal everyday. If at all they decide to go back to India they will they shave their beards and prevent a new trend from starting in our beloved Bengaluru.
